General
Eversley is on the Hampshire/Berkshire border some 6 miles from the
M3 and 10 miles from the M4. It is best approached along the
A327 road which runs between Reading and Aldershot.
Coming from the West & M4
As you enter Eversley Street, you
will cross the River Blackwater by the Tally Ho pub. Continue through the
village and, just past the White Hart pub (on your left), turn right into Warbrook Lane. After a quarter of a
mile, fork right into Lower Common and continue for three quarters of a
mile towards the New Mill. Rycroft is on your right.
Do not attempt to reach us via New Mill Road, Finchampstead. This
route involves a deep ford which is unsuitable for cars. |
Coming from the East
& M3
Entering Eversley on the A327, you will see Warbrook House on
your left. Just beyond the 30mph sign, turn left into Warbrook Lane. After a quarter of
a mile, fork right into Lower Common and continue towards New Mill. Rycroft is on your right.
Coming from
Basingstoke
Follow the A33 northwards towards Reading. At Heckfield, turn
right towards Bramshill. Go straight on past the sign to the Police
College for about half a mile. Turn left at St. Neot's Road and
then left again into Lower Common which will take you to Rycroft. |
