Approved by the British Horse Society as an Examination and Training Centre WORKING STUDENT SCHEME |
|
|
Quality training for
the individual Training is given towards
British Horse Society Stage Examinations and Preliminary
Teaching Test. It consists of four sessions
of riding and four sessions of stable management per week, plus practical
stable management. At a later date, time is spent teaching students the
250 hours required by the BHS to obtain the BHS Assistant Instructor
qualification. Courses
normally last for one to one-and-a-half years. Having successfully
completed training to BHS Assistant Instructor level, students
may continue at Rycroft as a member of staff, training to BHS
Stage IV, or they may wish to move on - perhaps training in
a different branch of horses, thus widening their experience.
